Based in south-west England I work as an ecologist and practice as an artist.
After training in Oxford and London I gained a Masters degree in Fine Art from the Arts University Bournemouth. My drawing practice tends to be informed by my experiences in the field of ecological survey.
As an ecologist specialising in protected and rare species I hold licences from Natural England and my career in the public sector demonstrates a long-term commitment to environmental conservation and biodiversity. I am a full member of the Chartered Institute for Ecologists and Environmental Managers (CIEEM).
I am currently working on a collaborative project for an exhibition at Brewhouse Theatre & Arts Centre in Taunton, Somerset in autumn 2019 whilst experimenting with printmaking, launching conservation schemes for Barn owl and Dormice and participating in research about mitigation strategies for bats.
